Super Busy Man

21 11 2007

Work has started for me and I’m getting super busy – at the same time, super sick. I can’t get a good opportunity to rest because I’ve got no time to.

I’m working at DHL as a warehouse assistant. They wanted to ask me to work in the office but their goods has not came in yet. But I feel better working in the warehouse than in the office because I get to speak a lot. Get to meet all sorts of nice people. Even get a free packet of Milo every afternoon!

Anyway, I want to watch Hitman and P2. Anybody want to watch with me next month?

Sakae Sushi Buffet

17 11 2007

Went for Sakae Sushi buffet at Compass Point today. It was my first time eating it and it was quite a good experience. The time is 3am right now and I’m feeling a little dizzy because I’m sick. Instead of sleeping, I’m using my computer.

I wanted to upload some photos but because of the state I am in right now, I accidentally deleted all the photos that I took today. Pictures of all the sushi are gone and I don’t feel any better.

I’ve to shamelessly steal this photo from other site and put it here. This is raw salmon sushi and it’s my favourite. I think it’s time for me to hit the bed – I’m getting real sick!

Oh yeah, add me on Facebook – it’s really fun!

Add Me – Facebook

16 11 2007

Out of boredom, I tried creating a Facebook account and I find it quite cool. For those of you who have one, please add me so that I can show off the amount of friends I have.

I’m having a bad flu!

I Love Instant Noodles

13 11 2007

Recently, I’m very into those dry-type instant noodles. It tastes so much better than those soup ones. I decided to do a search for the best dry instant noodles in the world. I’ve already tasted quite a few brands so I decided to try Koka – the one without MSG.

The good side is that it is a lot healthier than other brands but it takes away the great taste of the noodles. The moment I tasted it, I knew that it wasn’t up to expectations despite the nice packaging.

But at least, it’s healthier.

Wedding Dinners Are Great

12 11 2007

I love wedding dinners, especially those held in high class hotels. I just came back from my cousin’s wedding dinner at Ritz-Carlton. That place was simply pure class. The food for just one table costs $2000!

Went there early and it was like what I see in the movies. Waiters going around with drinks serving people as the Ballroom was not opened yet. People were standing around tables enjoying the nuts with their red wine. For me, I tried white wine!

After awhile, I decided to go to the toilet and I was shocked when I opened the door. I think the renovation of the toilet costs more than the value of my house. I don’t think I can even afford to host my birthday party in their toilet!

And, what you see here, is just a quarter of the toilet. I think the toilet is almost the size of my house. Alright, I’m focusing too much on the toilet. Let’s move on. So after much waiting, the ballroom was finally opened.

I was so excited and happy that I forgot to take pictures. The food was amazing and I love the shark’s fin soup. The wedding dinners that I have went to in the past, the fin comes in shreds. For this, the shark’s fin comes in big pieces!

What you pay is what you get – $2000. The food overall was great! Maybe I shall save $2000 and go there for dinner sometime.

And my little brother is becoming smarter and smarter these days.

No One Is Born Stupid?

11 11 2007

Yeah! Finally I back to using Sony Ericsson. Anyway, I’m sure most of you guys have heard this phrase “No one is born stupid”. I think it’s created by stupid people to make people believe they’re not stupid and people are stupid enough to believe that because it sounds cool. Why would I say that?

Explain this.

DVD Review: 300

8 11 2007

It’s been awhile since I last watched DVD. I rented 300 yesterday and I’ve decided to do a review on it.

My friends who watched it said it was a brilliant show. After watching it, I think otherwise. It’s a true story about how Sparta (a country that has only the strongest men) goes to war with Persians. Sparta only sent 300 soldiers, fighting against 10,000.

And the whole show was just showing the soldiers killing each other. I rather recommend watching Happy Tree Friends.

Glad To Be Alive

6 11 2007

The past few days has been great. Went to catch crabs over at Punggol End on Saturday & I’m burnt by the sun. After that, had steamboat in church at 2am. I officially announce that I’m half dead – for the next few days.

Recently, I getting influenced by my sister. I’m getting the habit of watching boy band dramas. I’m currently watching Meteor Garden 1. Anyway, take this test to see how good are your audio/visual senses. I’m sure you can’t beat my near perfect senses.

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. - 1 Corinthians 10:13

The Water’s Boiling

1 11 2007

I’m sure by now most of you have heard about the 3 tourists who bullied a elderly rickshaw driver. Read more about it here and also watch the video below.

Like many other Singaporeans, I felt angry with the 3 fools. 18 years of living here, I’ve never went on a rickshaw ride before and those idiots did it without paying. 18 years of living here, I’ve never bullied such a cute looking old man before and those idiots did it before me.

Unfortunately, they have already went back to Britain. If not I would have made friends with them ripped them apart.
