I’ve been taking part in the National Day Parade Balloting faithfully for as long as i can remember – and for as long as I can remember, nobody called and tell me that I’ve been selected to participate.

You can take part in this scam E-Balloting right here!

In A Lift For 40 Hours

2 05 2008

Now I need you to imagine again. You’re working in the tallest building of Singapore and you decided to go downstairs to grab a quick bite. When you come back up in the lift, it jolted and the light flickered for a moment. And you realise, you’re trapped in the lift.

This is what happened to Nicholas White in 1999. He was trapped in the lift for more than 40 hours.

Do Charity By Playing Game

23 02 2008

The game is simple. All you have to do it to click on the answer that best describes the given word. If you get it correct, they will donate 20 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program. Apparently, they gets the rice from sponsors who advertises on their site.

This site doesn’t seem to be phony. I’ve already donated 400 grains of rice today. Start donating over at FreeRice!

A Seat On The Train

5 02 2008

Saw this letter on Today newspaper. It’s written by 62 years old elderly requesting the younger ones to give up their seats to people in need. The writer also wrote about her experience whereby a young woman refused the give up her seat even when asked!

Of course, the write may sound very pitiful but I don’t like her way of writing that letter. It sounds as if they deserve all the rights to have seats. Come on, young people have their own difficulties too. Young people can feel tired too – not just the elderly. Don’t draw a line between the young and old in this manner.

And I’m also not implying that the elderly is wrong in writing that letter. It’s just my own two cents. I’m sure there will be people replying to her letter in the days to come. Can’t wait to see how others think.

World’s Biggest Pool

Read more here.

Nowadays people are so lame, that they have to build a swimming pool beside an ocean – and fill it with saltwater.

Stucked At Home

4 01 2008

I’ve been staying at home for the past few days because I’m currently using adult fare for my transport. I didn’t know it’s so expensive to travel around in Singapore. Fortunately, I’m going back to school in 3 days time and that means I get to enjoy student fare again.

Take a look at this, growth of a baby panda – cute!

Time To Post Something

3 12 2007

Wow – in a blink of an eye and it’s already December. It feels like it was New Year just a few days back. I guess it’s time for me to enjoy myself before my jail school term starts.

It was amazing to see how fast time can really fly. One thing I really like about this year is turning 18. I am no longer restricted by certain rules and it feels great. One thing I really hate about turning 18 is that, very soon, I’m going to lose my freedom.

As a student, I can do what I like anytime I want. After National Service, I’m going to start working and it’s going to kill me. Work, sleep, work and sleep. I can only pray that I will have a job that really interests me.

Anyway, here are some really creative staircases!

Add Me – Facebook

16 11 2007

Out of boredom, I tried creating a Facebook account and I find it quite cool. For those of you who have one, please add me so that I can show off the amount of friends I have.

I’m having a bad flu!

Glad To Be Alive

6 11 2007

The past few days has been great. Went to catch crabs over at Punggol End on Saturday & I’m burnt by the sun. After that, had steamboat in church at 2am. I officially announce that I’m half dead – for the next few days.

Recently, I getting influenced by my sister. I’m getting the habit of watching boy band dramas. I’m currently watching Meteor Garden 1. Anyway, take this test to see how good are your audio/visual senses. I’m sure you can’t beat my near perfect senses.

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. - 1 Corinthians 10:13

Come Alive, Dry Bones

29 10 2007

Bought a new disc today. The past two times I bought discs, I lent it to friends and I have not seen them (the discs) again. Maybe I should copy it to another disc or I won’t even lend it at all because it’s illegal. File sharing, disc sharing, wife sharing – they are all illegal.

I think I still prefer PlanetShakers. But Delirious? ain’t that bad also. Anyway, check this site out. They attached a camera to a helium balloon and sent it to space (almost). The photos look quite cool too.

The Beginning

27 10 2007

Alright.

I just can’t control the urge to register when I found out that WordPress offers free blog hosting. It’s my favourite blogging system and I got excited at the prospect of using it. It’s so much better than Blogger or Xanga!

Even the feeling of typing in here is so amazing – but I know that this feeling will go sooner or later and I will be sick and tired of blogging again. But for now, just let me enjoy typing nonsense in here.

You might think that I’m weird, but take a look at the weirdest insects in the world.
